We went to the best afternoon tea in London and I need to tell you all about it!
Now that autumn is here and summer has truly gone, if you're anything like me, you'll be scratching your head for autumnal activities in London that isn't weather dependant and nice and cosy!
We all know about the afternoon teas at places such as Claridge's or The Ritz but if you're looking for a hidden gem, I have the perfect suggestion.
We went to Socca Bistro in Mayfair and it was amazing!
We could not stop obsessing over the interior design, my personal fave were the shell wall lamps!
Literally everything in there was gorgeous and the attention to detail was spot on and tied the whole place together beautifully, I literally felt like I was in Paris.
And lets not forget the food - it was unreal!!
We had a tea of our choice, I had 'Garden of Eden' which was a green and black tea, as well as a glass of champers because I couldn't resist.
The menu changes with the season so we had duck sandwiches, crab quiche, lobster and prawn rolls and a lamb croquette for savouries.
There were some stunning chocolate and the pastries to finish were heavenly! I'm still not over the British strawberry and vanilla and the lemon meringue was just too good.
I cannot wait to go back asap, I think I've found my new favourite place for the best afternoon tea in London.
