Yvonne Ellen all started thanks to not being able to find that perfect wedding giftโฆ It was my best friendโs wedding, and I was struggling with what to buy for a gift. I wanted to give the couple something that was both beautiful and unique, something super special which I just couldnโt find on the high street, no matter how hard I looked.
I had a huge collection of absolutely stunning vintage china which I had collected over the years from various charity shops, market stalls and car boot sales (my guilty pleasure!). I decided to upcycle a tea set by hand-painting it. A perfect balance of personal and chic! I got such amazing feedback from friends and family, so I took the leap and started selling my designs online. And suddenly Yvonne Ellen London was born!
Although I donโt paint directly onto my vintage china anymore, my designs are still heavily inspired by my first designs and still create the perfect wedding gift!
