In My Baking Era: Pink Cookie Recipe

Guys I've outdone myself!! Here's the recipe and all the bits I used in my pink baking session...
 
Ingredients you will need:
 
225g salted butter at room temperature
270g white sugar
1 large egg
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp pink food colouring (this amount may differ depending on the brand of food colouring you use)
315g all-purpose flour (spooned and levelled)
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
135g white chocolate chips plus extra for topping the cookies
 
 
  
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS
 
Preheat oven to 350 F and lining baking trays with parchment paper.
 
In a large bowl cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. This usually takes about 5 minutes.
 
Add in the egg, food colouring, and vanilla extract and mix till well combined.
 
 
In a separate bowl whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
 
Add the dry ingredients to the wet and mix till well combined.
 
 
Fold in the chocolate chips.
 
Scoop out the dough and shape into a ball. Place on the baking sheet 2 inches apart.
 
 
Bake for 11-12 minutes or until cookies are just starting to turn brown on the bottom.
 
Top the hot cookies with extra white chocolate chips.
 
Let cool on the baking sheet before moving to your favourite cookie jar (this is mine obvs)
